"Day care centre at Naregaon "
Gramvikas Sanstha with the help of the civic body Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has started the Pilot abhinav DAY CARE CENTRE AT NAREGAON. The centre was established to facilitate the people of slum area in Aurangabad. The people of this slum area do outdoor work; therefore they face lots of difficulties in taking care of their loving kids. The people of the slum area are involved in the work like construction labor work, house maid etc. At present there are 100 kids, GVS provides two time refreshment, lunch in the afternoon, educational activities and games and entertainments are also the part of the daily schedule of Day Care Centre the timing of the DAY CARE CENTER is from 9:00 am to 6:00 Pm in the evening.
The early years of a child is very critical since his/her physical and mental growth takes place at a rapid pace. Therefore proper care and proper diet is very important for the physical and mental growth. The DAY CARE CENTRE focuses on giving all the important things to the kids so that they can be able to learn something new every day. Day care centre provides warm and secure and a stimulating good environment to the child and carried out the following activities likes; “Anand Vihar’, “Adolscent life skill education program”, “health checkup” “education activities” etc. all this activities help the students in there holistic and overall physical and mental development. Gramvikas Sanstha has established local expertise management committee at the day care centre so that all the activities can be to manage regularly.
