‘SJRY’ Women SHG’s Training at Khultabad.

  The Marathwada region of Maharashtra state is one of the very backward regions of the state. Marathwada region is behind in health, education, agriculture, empowerment and other basic facilities are also not available in this region. To develop this region it is very important that the area of problem should be addressed and one should come up with solution. Gramvikas Sanstha has taken the initiative of developing this region. Gramvikas Sanstha organized training programs for the stake holders of the society so that a great acceleration can be given to the work of development. A positive attitude plays a very important role and without that it is almost impossible to carry out any development program therefore GVS organized training program for the stakeholders of the society. GVS provides training on the topics of agriculture, education, health, women, training is also given to the officers of rural development, individuals, organization etc, all the training programs are done under one roof, this training program is given at Gramvikas Bhawan Aurangabad. Training is given on the various other topics like Panchayati Raj Training for the Panchayati raj officers, women empowerment training to the rural women’s, Jalswarajya Program, self help group, our Wasundhara program, business related to agriculture etc. The organization organized training programs for the villager and to other officers of rural development agencies. Gramvikas Sanstha conduct training activities under the project of PANCHAYAT RAJ, Backward Regions Grant Fund Program (BRGF),WASUNDHARA, Swarna Jayanti Rozgar Yojana (SJRY), etc, to focus the related issues & needs of rural masses.

Gramvikas Sanstha has been successfully working as a National level Key Resource Centre (KRC) under the flagship program of Govt. of India i.e. Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) which aims at providing the Functional Household Tap Connection (FHTC) to every rural household (Har Ghar Nal Se Jal). As a KRC we have been vested with the reasonability of two district i.e. Chatrpati Sambhajinagar & Jalna. The comprehensive and effective capacity building training provided by the Gramvikas Sanstha under Jal Jeevan Misson(JJM) to different stake holders, like the Gram Panchayat Surpanchs, ASHA & Anganwadi workers Jalsuraksha rekshak etc. facilitated the effective, fruitful and sustainable implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission and in turn helped in sustainable rural development.

Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) is another flagship program of Govt. of India as well as Govt of Maharashtra. The Gramvikas sanstha under SBM was given the responsibility to provale the capacity building trainings to all the main functionaries of all the Gram Panchayats in both the district, (Sambhajinagar & Jalna Districts), covering the subjects like Solid & Liquid Waste Management(SLWM), importance of sanitation etc. This capacity building training under SBM has assisted in making several villages Open Defecation Free (ODF) and wastage free.
